This End User License Agreement and Terms of Service ("Agreement") is a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Gavbook ("we," "our," or "us"). This Agreement governs your use of the Gavbook website (gavbook.com), the Gavbook mobile application (available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store), and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").
IMPORTANT: By checking the "I agree" box during registration, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms in this Agreement including the zero tolerance content policy. You must actively agree to these terms before creating an account.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Gavbook maintains an absolute zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Any user who posts or shares objectionable, offensive, harmful, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate content will be immediately and permanently banned from the Platform. The offending content will be removed within 24 hours of being reported or discovered. There are no warnings or second chances for this policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform in any way, you confirm that:
You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
You have actively read and agreed to this Agreement by checking the required consent checkbox during registration.
You understand and accept the zero tolerance policy for objectionable content.
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Platform.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, you must not use the Platform.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Gavbook grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Permitted Uses
- Access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial community purposes.
- Create, share, and interact with content within the Platform's features.
- Download and use the mobile application on your personal device.
Restrictions
- Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Platform.
- Sublicense, sell, or transfer your access to any third party.
3. User Accounts
Accurate Information
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
Credential Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Unauthorized Access
You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
Account Activity
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorized by you or not.
Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive, contain false information, or violate this Agreement.
One Account Only
One person may maintain only one account. Duplicates created to circumvent bans will be terminated.
4. User-Generated Content
4.1 Content Ownership & License
You retain ownership of all content you create and post on the Platform ("User Content"), including text, images, videos, comments, marketplace listings, directory entries, and other materials. By posting User Content, you grant Gavbook a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your User Content solely for the purposes of operating, providing, promoting, and improving the Platform.
4.2 Content Representations
By posting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to post the content.
- The content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- The content is truthful and not misleading.
- The content complies with all applicable laws and this Agreement.
4.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you post. Gavbook does not endorse, verify, or assume liability for any User Content. Other users' content represents their views and not those of Gavbook.
5. Prohibited Content & Behavior
ABSOLUTE ZERO TOLERANCE — NO EXCEPTIONS
The following content and behavior are strictly prohibited. Violation will result in immediate removal of content within 24 hours and permanent ejection (ban) of the offending user from the Platform without prior warning.
5.1 Objectionable Content
You must NOT post, share, transmit, or promote any content that:
Is pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene.
Depicts or promotes violence, gore, self-harm, or animal cruelty.
Contains hate speech, discrimination, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, caste, or national origin.
Promotes terrorism, extremism, or radicalization.
Contains threats, bullying, intimidation, or harassment.
Exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors in any way.
Promotes illegal activities, including drug use, weapons trafficking, or fraud.
Contains defamatory, libelous, or knowingly false statements.
Includes personal or private information of others without consent (doxxing).
Is spam, scam, phishing, or deceptive in nature.
Infringes intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, patents).
Is otherwise objectionable, offensive, or harmful as determined by Gavbook.
5.2 Abusive Behavior
The following user behaviors are prohibited:
- Harassing, stalking, or intimidating other users.
- Impersonating another person, entity, or Gavbook staff.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions.
- Manipulating ratings, reviews, or engagement metrics.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Platform's operation or other users' experience.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Using the Platform to collect personal information of other users without consent.
6. Reporting, Moderation & Enforcement
Report Content
Every post, listing, comment, and user profile has a report button. One tap to flag objectionable content.
24-Hour Action
All reports are reviewed and actioned within 24 hours. Content removed promptly upon confirmation.
User Ejection
Violators are permanently banned. Account disabled and all offending content is removed.
6.1 How to Report
Gavbook provides multiple channels to report objectionable content or abusive users:
- In-App Reporting: Tap the three-dot menu (•••) on any post, comment, marketplace listing, directory entry, or user profile and select "Report."
- User Blocking: Block any user directly from their content or profile. Blocked users cannot see your content or interact with you.
- Email: Send detailed reports to report@gavbook.com with the content link and supporting evidence.
- Contact Form: Use the contact page on our website to submit a formal report.
6.2 Report Categories
When reporting, you may select from the following categories:

Upon receiving a report, Gavbook follows this enforcement procedure:
Report Received
Report is logged with timestamp, reporter details, and content reference. An acknowledgment is sent.
Review within 24 Hours
Our moderation team reviews the reported content against content policies. All reviews completed within 24 hours.
Content Removal
Violating content is immediately removed from the Platform and permanently deleted from public access.
User Ejection
The offending user is permanently banned. Account disabled, all content reviewed, further violations removed.
Reporter Notification
Reporter notified of action taken. If no violation found, reporter informed with an explanation.
6.4 Enforcement Actions
Depending on severity, Gavbook may take the following actions:
Content Removal
Immediate removal of the offending content within 24 hours.
Permanent Ban
The user’s account is permanently disabled with no option for reinstatement.
Content Purge
All content from the banned user is reviewed and violating content removed.
IP/Device Block
In severe cases, device or IP blocked to prevent re-registration.
Law Enforcement Referral: Content involving illegal activity, child exploitation, credible threats, or terrorism will be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Commitment: Gavbook commits to acting on all objectionable content reports within 24 hours. This includes removing the offending content and ejecting the user who provided it. We maintain a dedicated moderation team to ensure this commitment is upheld at all times.
7. Marketplace Terms
Accurate Listings
Marketplace listings must accurately represent the item or service being offered.
No Party to Transactions
Gavbook is not a party to transactions between users. We do not guarantee or assume responsibility for any products, services, or transactions.
Legal Compliance
Users are responsible for complying with local laws regarding the sale, purchase, or rental of goods and services.
Prohibited Items
Listings for weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property, and regulated substances are strictly forbidden and will be removed immediately.
No Deceptive Practices
Pricing manipulation, bait-and-switch tactics, and deceptive listings are prohibited.
8. Intellectual Property
- The Platform, its design, features, code, and branding are the intellectual property of Gavbook and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
- If you believe content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at legal@gavbook.com with details of the infringement.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-generated content or information on the Platform.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation of the Platform.
- We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from your use of the Platform, reliance on user-generated content, or transactions with other users.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gavbook's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Gavbook (if any) in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
- In no event shall Gavbook be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gavbook, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of this Agreement; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Account Termination & Suspension
By You
You may delete your account at any time through app settings or by contacting support. Account deletion is irreversible.
By Gavbook
We may immediately suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate this Agreement — without prior notice or liability.
Effect of Termination
Your license to use the Platform is immediately revoked. User Content may be retained or deleted at our discretion.
Banned Users
Permanently banned users may not create new accounts. Any new accounts identified as belonging to a banned user will be immediately terminated.
12. Platform-Specific Terms
12.1 Apple App Store
- This Agreement is between you and Gavbook, not Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support.
- Apple is not responsible for product warranties, claims, or IP infringement related to the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce this Agreement.
- Your use must comply with the App Store Terms of Service.
12.2 Google Play Store
- This Agreement is between you and Gavbook, not Google LLC. Google has no obligation beyond distribution.
- Your use must comply with the Google Play Terms of Service.
- Google is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging any claims related to the app.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Informal Resolution
Disputes shall first be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, submitted to binding arbitration in India.
Exclusive Jurisdiction
Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in India.
No Class Actions
You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
15. Changes to This Agreement
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications, email, or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 7 days before the effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account.
16. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it shall be severed from this Agreement without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Gavbook concerning the Platform.
